Climb for Hope - Day 1: Lake Cuicocha near Otavalo, 3 hour preliminary hike, approx. 1000 feet of elevation gain. Beautiful day, azure blue water in the lake which is an old caldera from an ancient volcano. Everyone feeling good, adjusting their equipment, and team is bonding well.
Small group spent New Year's in the Jungle....before the CFH began.

We are so excited for all of you!! Our daughter spent two years teaching in Ecuador and we were fortunate enough to be able to join her down there and tour the country. We spent time in Guayaquil, Quito and Atavalo. We stood on the equator exactly where you did! Aren't the children the most beautiful you ever saw? Good luck to all of you and especially to Laura Willumsen, whom we are sponsoring. Love to all, Peggy & Tom
Go for it Leisha!!!!!
It looks beautiful. I am living vicariously.
